We had a great lunch that Stacey and the girls made for us out on the picnic table. Of course we were surrounded by fine pots.
After lunch Michael introduced me to the new chickens and we talked more about ...you guessed it, pots and the internet and selling and just all that great stuff.
Working on pots for the upcoming exhibition at Turman Larison Gallery in Montana called Killer Pots. This show will feature pots with Killer Animals. Above a couple Crocodile mugs.
Inspired by Dahl's book The Enormous Crocodile, illustrated by Quentin Blake.
That little hood is necessary so that the liquid doesn't flow over the top when pouring.
I'll get a thin layer of white slip on these tomorrow and then who knows what.
Time for lunch. I made my 12 before 12 today! Working on an order to go to McGill Duncan Gallery at the end of the month.
I can't wait to get a copy.
Off to unload the kiln now. Pics up later!!!
I've posted some new items in my Etsy shop. I'm be adding a few more later today. Hop on over there by clicking HERE.
Thanks! Ron
