Hi Folks, It's been awhile. I shot a video last night after I unloaded my kiln. I am really loving the work I'm making right now. Have a look at the video to see the pots. I have accumulated a good body of this work and I'll be showing it all at the Thrown Together Spring Sale this weekend. Come on out if you are nearby. Rain or shine. Our guest this time is my pal Michael Kline.
Video. Amy Sanders and I Discuss Our New Pots
Amy and I shot this video on Friday. It was fun to get together and sit down and have some time to chat about pots. We are getting ready for the Thrown Together Spring Sale. April 27th and 28th. Visit the website for more info. Have a great Monday everyone.
Shiny Happy Pottery
I unloaded the kiln last night and was happy to see some shiny pots and no glaze bubbles.

I've been struggling with getting the glaze application right on this trailed work. I really laid it on this time and was rewarded. The amber was a rich color and the pots had some glaze depth to them.
I also had some tests in the kiln that came out looking good as well as another group of pots with my fritted glaze that I forgot to photograph. I'll get those up later.
Jar x 3
Three Jars. That's right. 3.
One. Two. Three.
Getting some pots made
Late start in the pottery today but I managed to get some work done. It was low key and no pressure. Just tried to have some fun.

These olive trays were fun to make. I was looking at Johannes Peters' website last night and saw the ones he made and decided to do some.

I really want to just start having fun in the studio. Loose pots and loopy decoration. We'll see if I can keep the feeling.
