Hi Ron - Will be interested in following this... I sell from my own gallery connected to my studio, which is in a retail setting. Been asked by another shop to display work there for a 60/40 split. But, jeez, my husband and I took a "field trip" there this weekend to check out the place. Most of their pottery is more along the lines of production pots, with little deco. I'd have to sell for twice as much to even consider it (and to match how I price in my own gallery space). The more I think about it, I don't think it's a good fit for me. But maybe there are other outlets I should be considering instead. Pondering for the new year...

As a newbie 'working' potter, I'll be interested in all of these topics. I'd like to cut way back on my day job and find a way to make pottering work as a reliable source of income. :)
